How change the size of a Tile, rearrange the Tiles into groups or pin (add) a Tile to the Start screen in Windows 8.

To change the size of a Tile on the Start screen, right-click the Tile you want to resize and in the App bar, click Smaller or Larger.

To rearrange Tiles to place them in different groups or locations on the Start screen, click and hold the Tile you want to arrange and move it where you want it. Repeat the procedure until all the Tiles are where you want them.

To pin, or add, a Tile to the Start screen, follow these steps:

1. Point to (but do not click) the lower-right corner of the screen, and click the Search charm.
   

   NOTE: The Win + W key combination will also take you to the Search screen.

2. In the Search screen, click the Apps category, and then right-click the icon for the app you wish to pin (add) to the Start screen.
   
3. On the App bar, click Pin to Start.
