Can movies recorded in XAVC S 4K format (3,840×2,160) be played back on a TV?

    In NTSC Areas:
    You can play back 4K content on TVs compatible with the 4K (3,840×2,160 23.98p/29.97p) HDMI output of this camera.
    Sony 4K BRAVIA TVs are compatible with the 4K (3,840×2,160 23.98p/29.97p/59.94p) HDMI output of this camera.

    NOTE: You may not be able to display 4K (3,840×2,160) content on a TV if the camera is connected to the TV via an AV amplifier.

     

    In PAL Areas:
    You can play back 4K content on TVs compatible with 4K (3,840×2,160 25p) HDMI output of this camera.
    Sony 4K BRAVIA TVs are compatible with the 4K (3,840×2,160 25p/50p) HDMI output of this camera.

    NOTE: You may not be able to display 4K (3,840×2,160) content on a TV if the camera is connected to the TV via an AV amplifier.
