    Why does the [A Runtime Error Has Occurred. Do you wish to Debug?] error message occur sometimes during the operation of Internet Explorer or during the browsing of Web pages?

    To resolve this symptom, refer to the following settings in Internet Explorer.

    - For Internet Explorer 4.*
    1. Right-click on the [Internet Explorer] icon on the desktop and click [Properties].
    2. When the [Internet Properties] window appears, click the [Advanced] tab.
    3. Check the [Disable script debugging] box from [Browsing].
    4. Click the [OK] button on the [Internet Properties] window.

    - For Internet Explorer 5.*
    1. Right-click on the [Internet Explorer] icon on the desktop and click [Properties].
    2. When the [Internet Properties] window appears, click the [Advanced] tab.
    3. Check the [Display a notification about every script error] from [Settings] -> [Browsing].
    4. Check the [Browsing] from [Disable script debugging].
    5. Click the [OK] button on the [Internet Properties] window.

    Notes:
    - This symptom occurs because when the program of a browsing webpage contains an error, the debugger tries to check its contents automatically.
    - The settings above will prevent the debugger from checking the error contents automatically.
