How to configure a folder for network sharing?

1. Click the Start button, then click Computer.
2. In the Computer window, navigate to the folder that will be configured for sharing.
3. In the menu bar, click the Organize button and then click Properties.
4. In the Folder Properties window, click the Sharing tab.
5. On the Sharing tab, in the Advanced Sharing box, click the Advanced Sharing button.
NOTE: If prompted for an administrator password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, type the appropriate password or click Continue.

6. In the Advanced Sharing window, click to check the box next to Share this folder.
7. In the Advanced Sharing window, click the OK button.
