How to execute a disk cleanup for Windows® 2000?
Note:

Please refer to the steps below:
A. To delete unused files
1. Click the Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and Disk Cleanup.
2. When the Select Disk dialog box appears, select a target drive of the disk cleanup from the Drive list box and click OK.
3. When the Disk Cleanup for dialog box appears, on the Disk Cleanuptab, select the checkboxes of the items to be deleted in the Files to delete box. Click OK.
4. When Are you sure you want to delete files? appears, click Yes.
B. To delete unused Windows components
1. Click the Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and Disk Cleanup.
2. When the Select Disk dialog box appears, select a target drive of the disk cleanup from the Drive list box and click OK.
3. When the Select Disk dialog box appears, in the Windows Components box, click the More Options tab and click Clean Up.
4. The Windows Components Wizard dialog box appears.
5. From the Components list, clear the checkboxes of the components to be deleted and click Next.
6. The components are deleted.
7. In the Completing the Windows Components Wizard window, click Finish.
8. Click OKto close Disk Cleanup dialog box.
C. To delete the installed programs
Uninstallation depends on the types of the user's software. For more information, please contact the software vendor.
1. Click the Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools and Disk Cleanup.
2. When the Select Disk dialog box appears, select a target drive of the disk cleanup from the Drive list box and click OK.
3. When the Disk Cleanup dialog box appears, in Installed Programs, click the More Options tab and click the Clean up. tab.
4. When the Add/Remove Programs window appears, select the program to delete and click Remove.
5. When the message to confirm the deletion of the program appears, click Yes.
To delete multiple programs, repeat Steps 4 and 5.
6. Click Close to close the Add/Remove Programs window.
7. Click OK to close Disk Cleanup dialog box.
