Why are received e-mails automatically transferred to [Deleted] folder?
To determine the occurrance of this symptom, firstly check if settings that transfer received mails to the [Deleted Items] folder have been made on the application.
Outlook Express Version 4.0
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click Tools, and click Inbox Assistant.
3. Check if the setting for mail messages to be transferred to the Deleted Items folder.
4. If the setting has been made, click Remove to delete the setting.
Outlook Express Version 5.* or Version 6.*
Check if rules have been set on Mail Rules or Blocked Senders.
Check Mail Rules
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click Tools, point to Message Rules and click Blocked Senders List.
3. Check if the setting for mail messages to be transferred to the Deleted Items folder has been made in the Mail Rules tab.
4, If the setting has been made, click Remove to delete the setting.
Check Blocked Senders
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. Click Tools, point to Message Rules and click Blocked Senders List.
3. Click Blocked Senders.
4. Check if the sender's address is registered to Blocked Senders.
5. If the address is registered, click Remove.
