Why doesn't the VAIO computer recognize i.LINK equipments/devices?
The exclamation mark (!) appears at IEEE 1394 Host Controller on Device Manager.
To resolve the symptom, please follow the steps below:
1. Disconnect the i.LINK cable that is connected to the VAIO computer and the i.LINK device.
2. Shut down the computer and turn off the device.
3. Turn on both the computer and the i.LINK device.
4. Connect the i.LINK cable.
5. If computer requests for driver disk, please follow the installation instruction carefully.
