How to erase the boot menu at the startup in Windows 2000.
You can set the boot menu at the startup to non-display in the following procedure.
(Operational Procedure)
1. Right-click "My Computer" on the desktop and select "Properties". "System Properties" appears.
2. Select the "Advanced" tab and press the "Startup and Recovery" button.
3. Uncheck the checkbox of "Display list of operating systems for (blank box) seconds" in "System Startup" and press "OK" button.
The settings are now completed. From the next startup, the boot menu will not appear.
* In order to display the boot menu after you have changed the settings, press the "F8" key soon after the appearance of SONY logo at the startup and a menu appears. Select "Return to OS Choices Menu" from the menu.
