How to connect 2 VAIO computers through an i.LINK cable?
For VAIO computers using Smart Connect Version 3.0, set the communication mode of Smart Connect Version 3.0 to STD Modewith the steps below.
1. Start the Smart Connect Monitor program.
2. Select the Run Smart Connect Switch option.
3. Select the STD mode option and click OK.
For VAIO computers using Windows Me or Windows XP Home, establish the settings to share out the desired folder in the computer.
If proper settings are not made (e.g. Share files for Microsoft network and a printer is not installed to Network Connections), user cannot enjoy communications between computers.
