      • Any unsupported original movies that are imported cannot be used to replace proxy movies before exporting. Before exporting, either clear [Replace proxy movies with original movies before export] or remove the original movies you imported.
      • By selecting [Change the file name] you can add a Prefix or Suffix (up to 40 characters each). To have a number added before original file name, select [3 digits] in the Numbering pull-down menu. Clips selected for exporting in the editing area are numbered sequentially, starting in the upper left.
File names can be up to 100 characters, including the original file name, any Prefix or Suffix, the 3 digits number, and the file extension. If the file name exceeds 100 characters, characters are removed from the original file name, starting from the end, so that the name does not exceed 100 characters when the file is exported.
      • Dialog details vary depending on the clip exported.
      • Exporting begins at this point if all original movies have been imported, if there are no proxy movies, or if you are exporting proxy movies. Skip steps 3–4 and go to step 5.
    3. To replace proxy movies with original movies at the step of exporting, select [Export after importing the original movies] in the confirmation dialog.
      • To start exporting with proxy movies, select [Export as is]. Skip step 4 and go to step 5.
    4. Following the instructions in the dialog, select the location where the original movies are stored.
      • Files in your specified folder and subfolders at that level are automatically found and imported.
      • If the original movies are in multiple folders, repeat this step and switch to the other folders.
      • Original movies cannot be imported automatically if you have renamed either the proxy movies or the original movies. Use [Import video] on the editing screen to specify and import the original movies.
