How to shoot and power your camera using a mobile battery

Please follow these steps:

1. Insert a fully charged battery into your camera.
   Note: Your camera will not work if the battery is not charged. 
2. Connect the mobile battery and camera using a USB cable, then turn on the camera.
   Make sure the mobile battery is fully charged before using the camera. For more details, refer to this article:

   Notes:
   • If your camera supports USB PD (USB Power Delivery) and has both a multi/micro USB and USB Type-C® terminal, use the USB Type-C terminal to charge your camera.
   • Use the supplied USB cable or a cable that complies with the USB standard. 
3. An icon  indicating USB power supply will appear on the camera screen. The battery will then begin supplying power to the camera.
   Depending on the display, the icon may disappear after a certain period of time. Press DISP to display it again.
   
   Notes:
   • The mobile battery cannot charge the camera and supply power to it at the same time. Pay attention to the remaining battery charge as the battery will gradually decrease during use.
   • The camera will turn off if you remove the battery from the camera while using USB power supply.
   • While using USB power supply, the USB cable should only be unplugged when the camera is turned off.
   • While using USB power supply, the continuous video shooting time may decrease due to a rise in the camera's internal temperature. The area near the USB terminal may also become hot, so please be careful.
4. When ending the USB power supply, turn off the camera.
   Charging will start when the camera is turned off. If you are not charging your camera, please unplug the USB cable.

Note: If you are supplying power to the camera via a computer or USB device, set USB Power Supply to On in the camera menu.

The menu steps will depend on your camera model:

• MENU → (Setup) → USB → USB Power Supply → On
• MENU→ (Setup) → USB Power Supply → On
