Remote control buttons and available features for your Google TV™

Different types of remote controls

Upper:

(MIC): Speak into here to use the microphone in the remote control. There is an LED above the microphone.
(Power): Turns on the TV or switches it to standby / networked standby mode.
Number Button / ・(Dot): Use this button with the 0-9 buttons to select digital channels.
APPS: Display a list of installed apps.
App buttons (online services): Enjoy various streaming services with a single press of a button.
Color buttons: Press the color button that corresponds to the function you want to use.
Note: You can only use these buttons within certain menus or apps. If you can use these functions, the menu or app will provide information regarding what function corresponds to each color button.
GUIDE: Display the digital programme guide of the TV or cable / satellite box.
DVR: Display a list of DVR-recorded programmes after completing the Cable/Satellite box setup.
INPUT or (Input select): Display and select the input source, etc.
(Microphone) / Google Assistant button: Use your voice to search for various TV content.
(Quick Settings): Display the Quick Settings menu.

Lower:

(Up) / (Down) / (Left) / (Right) / (Enter) (Navigation D-Pad): Onscreen menu navigation and selection.
BACK: Return to the previous screen.
HOME: Display the TV Home menu.
TV: Switch to a TV channel or input and display the TV menu.
VOL or +/- (Volume): Adjust the volume.
JUMP or (Jump): Jump back and forth between two channels or inputs. The TV alternates between the current channel / input and the last channel / input that was selected.
MUTE or (Mute): Mute the sound. Press again to restore the sound.
Note: The accessibility shortcut service can be turned on or off by pressing and holding MUTE or (Mute).
CH +/- (Channel): Select the channel.
AUDIO: Select a multilingual source sound or dual sound for the programme currently being viewed (depending on the programme source).
SUBTITLE/CC or (Subtitle setting): Turn subtitles on or off (when the feature is available).
HELP: Display the Help menu. The Help Guide can be accessed from here.
(Fast rewind) / (Play) / (Fast forward) / (Pause) / (Stop): Operates media content on the TV and connected BRAVIA Sync-compatible devices.
REC: Record the current programme with the DVR after completing the Cable/Satellite box setup.
EXIT: Return to the previous screen or exit from the menu. When an Interactive Application service is available, press this button to exit from the service.
DISPLAY or (Info/Text reveal): Display information about the channel, programme, or input you are viewing.
