Why is the standby power consumption so high?

At the time of release, all BRAVIA models comply with standby power consumption regulations. However, if the settings related to standby power consumption are changed, the consumption may increase from the specified value. The standby power consumption can also increase depending on the usage and network environment.

Notes:

• Some countries and regions do not have standby power consumption regulations.
• For models released in Europe: Starting on March 1, 2021, the regulations of (EU) 2019/2021 will be applied and, for models launched in Europe, customers' consent will be required when changing the settings that increase the standby power consumption.
