Great picture, poor sound quality

As usual (I've been having SONY tv sets for more than 30 years), the picture quality is the best in the world. But the sound quality is always bad. Not even good, acceptable, maybe. I mean, for such a big tv set, 2X10 watts is ridiculous. Of course, I added a soundbar, which I had with my previous 43 inches tv set, but still... But for the rest, this is a great tv set. Maybe I don't need to go out to movie theaters anymore with this. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because of poor sound quality from the tv set itself.

Great Picture Quality with Some Flaws

Been using Sony TV for the past years due to their superb quality and recently bought the 55 X75K as a replacement TV as the former Sony TV had flickering images after just 4 years of usage. The picture quality and colour is fantastic but this new model has some flaws: 1. Sound quality is enhanced but is soft 2. There are black patches at the 4 corners of the TV. Clearly visible when the screen has full colour background. Checked with Sony support and they said this is due to this model using Direct Backlight hence there is darker corners, not product failure.

If you want an expensive product that will fail in less than 1 year, be sure to buy this one because Sony will offer the option to buy a new one instead of replacing it. So just don't buy this one.

App can't be loaded

We bought this TV because we have always liked Sony products, but the main reason we wanted to be able to use the apps was to go directly to the JW LIBRARY app. This TV won't let us load this app which is very disappointing to us.

We're sorry you've been running into difficulty. Your apps may not install or update from the Google Play store for various reasons. A service provider doesn't always have an app on the market. It's possible that your favorite smartphone app doesn't have an equivalent (yet) on Google TV or Android TV. Google has an online list of available Android TV apps. Your location (country, territory) also matters. Some apps are only available in a certain country. However, these apps might one day become available in more countries if the app provider decides to expand their support. Yes, it's a complicated patchwork out there. When in doubt, it's always best to contact the service provider and check their website for supported countries and information.

• You can only install apps that are compatible with TVs. They may differ from apps for smartphones/tablets.
• An Internet connection and Google account are required to install apps from the Google Play Store.

This TV is really annoying

I have had this TV for 9 months and it has acted crazy since I have had it. It changes channels all by itself when connected to an antenna. It also goes crazy and turns the sound off then the screen goes blank and finally it shuts itself off. I does this randomly at least once a day if not a few times a day. The only way to get it to work again is to take the power away and then restore it.

Nice picture

I have had this TV for less than a month and have found it to be the most frustrating TV I've had to date. I am very comfortable with WIFI and smart TV set-up and use. My two issues with this TV are the black vertical line that is there every time I turn on the TV and the recurring loss of the WIFI signal. I have never had to reset my router for my TV to work, as my other TVs have no connection issues. In less than a month, I have re-set the TV to factory settings and re-set the router four-five times. I have done much internet searching about this issue with this TV and found that both the "black line" and dropped connection is a common problem. I am most frustrated as I bought this TV based on the Sony name and the advice of the sales person at Best Buy. How I wish I had gone with my first inclination to buy a Best Buy Insignia which has never failed me.

Best bang for your dollar!

I wasn't in the market for a new TV and my wife bought me a new TV for Christmas '22. This TV is feature rich! It came with all the apps I currently used, plus Apple TV and the Apple Screen Mirroring to cast to TV. Super fast on the Android features and guides. I didn't have the Google feature on my old Sony Bravia TV, and now I can tell it to open Pandora or Spotify and play music throught the ARC to receiver audio... awesome! Easy set up with my email and pretty much signed into almost everything. On others, opened the app with corresponding TV app and got connected with a code. Like I said, easy set up. I am sure that the KD-65X80k and higher are better graphics, but for the price of what wife paid for, this is all that I needed. One hundred times better than my high end Bravia I bought in 2016... seriously! Highly recommend this product for those who are not wanting to pay a lot, but get a lot!

I liked the features. I did not give five stars because for some reason it freezes looking for the network connections. But other 2 are working fine whine my new one is doing that. Also, the Google TV works more slowly than the FireStick and the RokuStick.
