Personalize Desktop appearance of your VAIO computer.

To personalize the Desktop Appearance manually, please follow the steps below:

To customize the Desktop Theme:

1. Click Start -> Control Panel.
2. On the Control Panel screen, click on Appearance and Personalization.
3. On the Appearance and Personalization screen, click on Personalization.
4. On the Personalization screen, click to select the desired Theme.
5. After selecting the Theme, you can also customize the Desktop Background, Windows Color, Sounds and Screen Saver of the selected Theme by clicking the options displayed at the bottom of the window screen.

To set the screen saver :

1. Click Start -> Control Panel.
2. On the Control Panel screen, click on Appearance and Personalization.
3. On the Appearance and Personalization screen, click on Personalization.
4. On the Personalization screen, at the bottom of the windows screen, click to select Screen Saver.
5. On the Screen Saver screen, select your desired screen saver. You can also Preview the screen saver.
6. Click Apply and OK button.

To set the Window Color :

1. Click Start -> Control Panel.
2. On the Control Panel screen, click on Appearance and Personalization.
3. On the Appearance and Personalization screen, click on Personalization.
4. On the Personalization screen, at the bottom of the windows screen, click to select Window Color.
5. On the Window Color screen, select the color you want for window borders, Start menu and taskbar.
6. Click Save changes button.

To set the desktop background:

1. Click Start -> Control Panel.
2. On the Control Panel screen, click on Appearance and Personalization.
3. On the Appearance and Personalization screen, click on Personalization.
4. On the Personalization screen, at the bottom of the windows screen, click to select Desktop Background.
5. On the Desktop Background screen, select the Picture you want to use. You may also set the picture position, interval, and shuffle option.
