What to do when the caution dialogue box that indicates the battery cannot be used or charged appears?
- The caution dialog box shown as below appears on the screen.
In Windows XP:
The chargeable battery cannot be used.
After clicking Yes, the PC goes into Hibernation Mode. After turning off the power, please disconnect the chargeable battery.
In Windows Vista:
If the chargeable battery cannot be used, it is possible that the battery is not correctly inserted.
After clicking Yes, the PC goes into Hibernation Mode.
After turning off the power, please refer to the product instructions, and reconnect the battery after they are disconnected completely.
- The indicator is blinking quickly.
- The battery cannot be charged.
- The PC cannot start when a non-original battery is inserted.
- Check if users have inserted a non-original battery into the PC.
Please turn off the computer power, and then remove, reinsert the battery to test the issue.
If the issue persists after performing the above steps, maybe the battery inserted cannot be used in the PC.
Or there is a problem with the battery. Please disconnect the battery after turning off the power, and insert a new original battery to test the issue.
Even if users are using the newly bought battery, the caution dialog box still appears on the screen. In this case, please try the following steps to further troubleshoot the issue.
