How do I format a 720Kb (3.5") floppy disk with MS-DOS on VAIO ?
When I input a command "format a:" to format a 720Kb (3.5") floppy disk with MS-DOS (DOS command prompt), an error message "Invalid media or Track 0 bad - disk unusable" appears, and I cannot format the disk.
You cannot format a 720Kb (3.5") floppy disk with the ordinary format command. To format a disk with MS-DOS, type "format a:/f:720" when you are in MS-DOS prompt.
