Why can't I save the password of the mail server when I log on to Windows 2000 as Administrator?
Why isn't the password of the mail software such as Outlook Express being saved when I log on to Windows 2000 as Administrator? However, when I create another user to log on to Windows instead of Administrator during the first startup time, I can save the mail password.

Due to the security-enhanced specifications of Windows 2000, you have to create a new user and log on to Windows 2000 with it to be able to save the mail password.
When you want to use Windows 2000 with the same authorization as before, set the new user to the Administrators group.
