Why can't the password/dial-up password for Outlook Express and Internet Explorer be saved?
A. User is required to re-enter the password each time the programs are restarted. For example, Outlook Express and Internet Explorer.
B. The passwords for Outlook Express and Internet Explorer cannot be saved.
Due to the security feature of Windows 2000 Professional, users logging in as an Administrator are not allowed to save any password to Outlook Express and Internet Explorer.
User will have to create a new user account and make this new account a member of the Administrator Group. In order to save any password for Outlook Express and Internet Explorer, user has to log in using the new user account.
