Which user's Privilege is necessary for the installation or modification of a local printer on Windows® XP?
A local printer cannot be added as the Local Printer attached to this computer option is not selected in the Add Printer Wizard window.
To install or change a local printer, user needs to have at least one of the following items:
- Membership of the Administrators group
- Membership of the Power Users group with the Privilege of Load and Unload Device Drivers.
