Why does the VAIO computer continue to access drive A even though the floppy disk has been removed?
When a file is last saved to or loaded from drive A by programs such as Wordpad, and the floppy disk is removed from the drive A, the VAIO computer continues to search for the disk in the drive when the File menu is next selected.
To resolve this symptom, please refer to either option below.
1. Save or load the file from the hard disk location before quitting the current program.
2. Insert a diskette in drive A to allow access when using the program.
