The brightness of the televsion screen fluctuates during the playback of a DVD video.
Firstly, check that the video output signal is connected directly to the video input of the television set. Do Not connect any devices, such as a video cassette recorder or an audio video ampilfier in etween the computer and the television set.
In most DVD videos, the generated video output signal contains video guard signal (a signal to prevent any unauthorised copy), and some devices are unable to decode these signals. Video images are hence distorted.
