Why do some VAIO computers show 2 types of clock frequencies in System Information?
The System Information tab in Sony Notebook Setup shows 2 kinds of clock frequencies.
The types of VAIO computers that show 2 types of clock frequencies are:
1. CPUs that have equipped with the Intel® SpeedStep technology
2. CPUs that are driven with low voltage
These types of CPU will have 2 different clock frequencies.
This is because one clock is for running in the AC operation and the other is for running in the battery operation.
